Bonaparte è un gruppo musicale canadese formatosi negli anni '90. Il nucleo originale era composto da Daniel Bejar (voce, chitarra), Josh Lindstrom (basso) e Krista Marshall (batteria). Il loro sound si caratterizza per una combinazione di indie rock, noise pop e psichedelia, con testi spesso introspettivi e atmosferici. Bonaparte ha pubblicato diversi album in studio, tra cui "The Last Days of Pompeii" (1998), "Bonaparte" (2000) e "The Great Escape" (2003). Il gruppo si è sciolto nel 2005 ma ha riscosso un rinnovato interesse negli anni successivi grazie alla crescente popolarità di Daniel Bejar, che ha continuato la sua carriera musicale con il progetto musicale Destroyer.
