Carlos Rico Walker, meglio conosciuto come Shawty Lo, è stato un rapper statunitense nato a Atlanta, Georgia, il 19 agosto 1980. È noto per il suo stile di rap aggressivo e le sue rime spesso provocatorie. Ha raggiunto la fama nazionale nel 2006 con il singolo "Dey Know", che ha raggiunto la posizione numero 3 nella classifica Billboard Hot Rap Songs. Lo è stato anche un membro del gruppo hip hop D4L, noto per il successo "Laffy Taffy". Shawty Lo ha pubblicato diversi album in carriera, tra cui "Units in the Street" (2007) e "The Price of Fame" (2010). La sua musica è stata spesso caratterizzata da temi di vita di strada, violenza e relazioni. Shawty Lo è morto tragicamente il 20 settembre 2016 a seguito di un incidente d'auto.
