Tim Armstrong è un musicista statunitense nato Timothy Lockwood Armstrong. È noto soprattutto come frontman e chitarrista dei Rancid, una delle band punk rock più influenti degli anni '90. Armstrong ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80 con i The Operation, prima di formare i Rancid nel 1991. Con i Rancid, Armstrong ha pubblicato album di successo come "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995) e "Life Won't Wait" (1998), contribuendo a definire il sound del punk rock moderno. Oltre ai Rancid, Armstrong ha collaborato con altri artisti come Dropkick Murphys e The Transplants, dimostrando la sua versatilità musicale.
