Void of Silence è una band italiana di doom metal formatasi nel 1999 da Riccardo Conforti (batteria, tastiere e sampler) e Ivan Zara (chitarra e basso). L'obiettivo del duo era creare musica che unisse le loro diverse influenze: l'atmosfera dark/ambient con elementi gothic e industrial per una parte, il peso oppressivo del doom metal per l'altra. Il risultato è un sound cupo e atmosferico, caratterizzato da riff pesanti, melodie malinconiche e testi introspettivi che esplorano temi di dolore, perdita e isolamento. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Serpent", "A Shadow of the Past" e "Through the Veil". Void of Silence ha pubblicato diversi album in studio, tra cui "The Serpent's Embrace" (2001) e "Whispers from the Void" (2004), consolidando la propria posizione nel panorama metal italiano.
