Parliament-Funkadelic è il nome collettivo dato al gruppo musicale funk guidato da George Clinton attivo principalmente negli anni '70. Il gruppo, composto da una serie di musicisti e cantanti, ha registrato sotto i nomi Parliament e Funkadelic, ma spesso si presentava come un'unica entità. Tra i membri più noti figurano Bootsy Collins, Fred Wesley e Maceo Parker, tutti provenienti dalle band di James Brown. Il loro stile musicale era caratterizzato da ritmi incalzanti, linee melodiche funky e testi spesso fantasiosi e satirici. Le performance dal vivo erano spettacolari, con costumi sgargianti, scenografie futuristiche e un'atmosfera di festa contagiosa. Parliament-Funkadelic ha avuto un impatto significativo sulla musica hip hop degli anni '80 e '90, influenzando artisti come Prince e Rick James.
