We went from passing a communion plate
To packing purple passion fruit
Ashing on the interstate
Satin smooth how we whip the coupe
Rolling heavy like the troupes
Metal chutes your ladders limping
Pimping in my bloodline
Hellbound hearts in this rotation
Ain’t no stoop, issa porch round here
Ain’t no loot just the stork round here
Ain’t no root for the squares
So the truth be told, I’m the truth
Young Euclid of prose
My homeys say I made it so I second guess depression
Cuz I left my city childless, how I left my city breathless
See Junie had a baby, and Brandon caught a body
Ivy talking college with a dooby riding shotty
My youngins barely graduate but study Smith and Wesson
And I’m blessed to never have to learn that lesson
See I ain’t tryna think muhhfucka
Let me put a lighter to this green muhhfucka
Bury all my problems like a seed muhhfucka
Bury all my problems like a seed muhhfucka
We was in the backwoods rolling on a sweet
Hanging out the window, dumping guts out on the street
They don’t want no smoke from a nigga
They don’t want no smoke from a nigga
We was in the backwoods rolling on a sweet
Hanging out the window, dumping guts out on the street
They don’t want no smoke from a nigga
They don’t want no smoke from a nigga
We was poking blunts and spinning blocks to park it up
Got a pack of Russian Creams so we can spark it up
Got my favorite BIC back from my folks who had it tucked
If they tried to scheme on me we would have had to run it up
I was uptown with the tools
Trying to crack codes to the game
Trying to make a name for myself
Beating all the odds, they said I would never be great
I'm happy that I never needed help
I could never quit, my niece got a flow of her own
She said I was the reason she gon' win
Now I understand what they mean when they say it's God-given
I could never give it back that's a sin
Win, win win, gotta put your mind to the test
See I ain't really tired, fuck rest
If you ask me if I really want it, I would prove to you yes
Can't let the grind get you stressed
It took us an hour to get to the gate
Remember the days we could never relate
The team is straight, but faith is key
You could have it too, if I got it in me
We was in the backwoods rolling on a sweet, how unique
Country youngin with no gold up on my teeth, that’s the dream
Get a budget, cop a cutlass, pay off all my mama’s debt
That diploma dont mean shit if I don’t get it for myself
All my cousins used to scrap round my grandma house
All that talking tough boy you better watch yo mouth
My teacher told me please don’t be up a statistic
But squad is just as brilliant there really ain't no difference
I just made a right when it was no child left behind
Flashing lights up in my rearview but tonight they passed me by
I just made a right when it was no child left behind
Flashing lights up in my rearview but tonight they passed me by x 3
See I ain’t tryna think muhhfucka
Let me put a lighter to this green muhhfucka
Bury all my problems like a seed muhhfucka
Bury all my problems like a seed muhhfucka
We was in the backwoods rolling on a sweet

They don’t want no smoke from a nigga
They don’t want no smoke from a nigga
