Victor Lemonte Wooten è un bassista statunitense nato a 1964 a Shelbyville, Tennessee. Considerato uno dei migliori bassisti di tutti i tempi, Wooten ha raggiunto fama internazionale per la sua tecnica virtuosistica, il suo stile innovativo e la sua profonda sensibilità musicale. Inizia a suonare il basso all'età di 7 anni, influenzato dal padre che era un musicista gospel. Nel corso della sua carriera ha collaborato con artisti come Béla Fleck, Les Claypool e Steve Vai, formando anche il gruppo jazz fusion V.U. (Victor Wooten Universe). Wooten è noto per la sua capacità di combinare elementi di funk, jazz, rock e musica classica nel suo stile unico. Ha vinto quattro Grammy Awards e ha pubblicato numerosi album di successo, tra cui "A Show of Hands", "Live in Concert" e "Palmystery". I suoi brani più rappresentativi includono "The Music is the Answer", "What You Bring to the Table" e "Between the Lines".
