Waleed Shabazz, noto con lo pseudonimo C-Rayz Walz, è un rapper proveniente dal Bronx, New York. Attualmente fa parte dell'etichetta discografica underground Definitive Jux e del sindacato hip hop di New York Stronghold. Oltre a aver pubblicato quattro album in studio e un EP, ha collaborato con numerosi altri rapper, tra cui Aesop Rock e Immortal Technique, e ha lavorato con artisti come Percee P e Messiah J and The Expert. Immortal Technique è considerato l'unico MC in grado di reggere il confronto con Walz in una battaglia freestyle.
