Fuel è un gruppo rock americano formatosi nel 1989 con il nome Small the Joy. Dopo aver pubblicato l'EP di successo *Porcelain* nel 1994, hanno cambiato nome in Fuel. Il singolo *Shimmer* dall'EP divenne un successo locale e li portò a firmare con la Sony Music, che pubblicò l'EP *Hazelton* nel 1997 e il loro album di debutto *Sunburn* nel 1998. *Sunburn* raggiunse il disco di platino grazie al successo del singolo *Shimmer*, riproposto dall'EP precedente. Tra i brani più noti del gruppo figurano anche *Innocent* e *Falls on Me*.
