The Fiery Furnaces sono stati un duo indie rock statunitense formatosi a Brooklyn nel 2000. Composto dai fratelli Matthew e Eleanor Friedberger, il gruppo ha pubblicato sette album in studio tra il 2003 e il 2011, caratterizzati da testi poetici e melodie intricate che mescolavano influenze folk, psichedeliche e pop. Dopo la pubblicazione dell'album "I'm Going Away", nel 2011 i The Fiery Furnaces si sono sciolti, con Matthew ed Eleanor che hanno intrapreso carriere soliste.
