Polly Jean Harvey, conosciuta semplicemente come PJ Harvey, è una cantautrice, musicista e compositrice britannica nata a Bridport, nel Dorset, nel 1969. Considerata una delle artiste più influenti del panorama musicale contemporaneo, PJ Harvey ha conquistato un posto di rilievo nella musica alternativa grazie al suo stile unico, caratterizzato da testi introspettivi e melodie intense. La sua carriera, iniziata negli anni '80 con la band The Elastica, ha visto l'uscita di album di grande successo come "Dry" (1992), "Rid of Me" (1993) e "To Bring You My Love" (1995). Nel corso degli anni, PJ Harvey ha collaborato con artisti di spicco come John Parish e Nick Cave, dimostrando una versatilità artistica che la rende un'icona del rock alternativo.
