Smif-N-Wessun è un duo hip hop statunitense formatosi nel 1994 a Brooklyn, New York. Composto da Tek e Buckshot, il gruppo ha guadagnato fama per le sue rime intricate, i beat pesanti e la rappresentazione cruda della vita nella loro città natale. Il loro album di debutto, *Dah Shinin'* (1995), è considerato un classico del genere e ha contribuito a definire l'estetica del boom bap. Tra i brani più noti si ricordano «Bucktown», «Soundbwoy Killa» e «The Realness». Nel corso della loro carriera, Smif-N-Wessun hanno collaborato con artisti come Jay-Z, Wu-Tang Clan e Mobb Deep.
