The Higher sono un gruppo emo/alt rock statunitense originario di Las Vegas. Attivi dal 2010, la band ha pubblicato due album in studio: *On Fire* (2013) e *Histrionics* (2016), entrambi sotto l'etichetta Epitaph Records. Inoltre hanno rilasciato due EP: *Pace Yourself* (2011) e *Star is Dead* (2014). I membri attuali del gruppo sono Seth Trotter, Doug McCarthy, Reggie Ragan e Jason Centeno. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, riff di chitarra energici e testi introspettivi che esplorano temi come l'amore, la perdita e la ricerca di identità. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si possono citare "The Way It Is", "On Fire" e "Star is Dead".
