Biz Markie, pseudonimo di Marcel Hall, è un rapper, disc jockey e beatboxer statunitense nato nel 1964. Soprannominato "The Clown Prince of Hip-Hop", Biz Markie si è affermato negli anni '80 con uno stile hip hop East Coast caratterizzato da umorismo e groove irresistibile. Il suo singolo più famoso, "Just a Friend", certificato platino dalla RIAA per aver venduto oltre un milione di copie, rimane un classico intramontabile del genere. Tra i suoi album più importanti ricordiamo "Biz Markie's Bad Boys" (1988) e "I Need a Doctor" (1991).
