HammerFall è una band heavy metal svedese proveniente da Göteborg. Fondata nel 1993 dal chitarrista Oscar Dronjak, ex membro di Ceremonial Oath, il gruppo ha rapidamente guadagnato popolarità grazie al suo sound epico e melodico, ispirato ai grandi classici del power metal degli anni '80 come Iron Maiden e Judas Priest. HammerFall è considerato uno dei pilastri del movimento melodic death metal europeo, con un'influenza significativa sulla scena heavy metal globale. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Glory to the Brave", "Hearts on Fire" e "Renegade", mentre tra gli album di maggior successo figurano "Legacy of Kings" (1997) e "Claw" (2000).
