Nitzer Ebb è un gruppo musicale industrial britannico formatosi nel 1982 nell'Essex. Il nucleo fondatore era composto da Douglas McCarthy (voce), Vaughan (Bon) Harris (synth e percussioni) e David Gooday, tutti compagni di scuola. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da ritmi elettronici pulsanti, testi provocatori e un'atmosfera cupa e claustrofobica, li ha rapidamente catapultati nell'underground musicale britannico. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Join in the Chant", "A Little While to Breathe" e "Let Your Body Talk". Nitzer Ebb hanno collaborato con artisti come Skinny Puppy e Front 242, contribuendo a definire l'estetica e la sonorità dell'industrial music. La loro influenza si estende anche al genere goth rock, influenzando band come The Cure e Siouxsie and the Banshees. Tra gli album più importanti ricordiamo "That Total Age" (1987) e "Belief" (1989).
