Salt-N-Pepa è un gruppo hip hop femminile statunitense formatosi a New York nel 1985. Il trio, composto da Cheryl James (Salt), Sandra Denton (Pepa) e Deidra Roper (Spinderella), ha rivoluzionato il panorama musicale con la loro musica energica e le tematiche femministe. Il loro debutto discografico, "Hot, Cool and Vicious", uscito nel 1986, segnò l'inizio di una carriera di successo. Tra i loro brani più famosi ci sono "Push It", "Let's Talk About Sex" e "Whatta Man". Salt-N-Pepa hanno vinto numerosi Grammy Award e venduto oltre tredici milioni di copie in tutto il mondo, diventando il gruppo femminile hip hop di maggior successo della storia.
