Fredro Starr, all'anagrafe Fredro Scruggs, è un rapper e attore statunitense nato a Brooklyn, New York, nel 1970. È noto soprattutto come membro del gruppo hip hop Onyx, attivo dal 1988. Con il suo stile rap aggressivo e le rime taglienti, Starr ha contribuito a definire l'hardcore hip hop degli anni '90. Onyx ha pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui "Bacdafucup" (1993) e "Shut 'Em Down" (1995), che hanno raggiunto la top 10 delle classifiche Billboard.
