Axxis è una band tedesca di power metal formatasi nel 1988. Il loro album di debutto, *Kingdom of the Night*, divenne nel 1989 l'album di debutto più venduto di sempre da una band hard rock in Germania. Il gruppo ha continuato a pubblicare album negli anni successivi, mantenendo un seguito fedele nell'ambito del metal europeo. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da riff potenti, melodie orecchiabili e testi epici, influenzati dal progressive rock e dall'heavy metal classico. Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Axxis figurano *Head Over Heels*, *The King of the Night* e *Too Late*.
