Michael Thomas 'Mike' Pinder (1945-2023) è stato un musicista, tastierista e cantante britannico, noto soprattutto per essere stato membro fondatore e tastierista dei Moody Blues. Nato a Birmingham, Inghilterra, Pinder ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '60 con diverse band locali prima di unirsi ai Moody Blues nel 1964. Con il gruppo, ha contribuito a definire il suono distintivo del rock progressivo, caratterizzato da arrangiamenti orchestrali complessi e testi poetici. Pinder è stato un elemento fondamentale nella creazione di alcuni dei più grandi successi dei Moody Blues, tra cui 'Nights in White Satin', 'Tuesday Afternoon' e 'Question'. Oltre al suo lavoro con i Moody Blues, Pinder ha anche collaborato con altri artisti e ha composto musica per film e televisione. La sua eredità musicale è stata riconosciuta con il suo induzione nella Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nel 2018.
