Candlebox è una rock band proveniente da Seattle, Washington. Formatasi nel novembre 1990 con il nome di Uncle Duke, il gruppo cambiò nome in seguito, presumibilmente in omaggio a un brano dei Midnight Oil intitolato "Candlebox". Il loro sound grunge si caratterizza per le melodie orecchiabili e la voce potente di Kevin Martin. Il debutto omonimo del 1993 raggiunse il successo commerciale con singoli come "Far Behind" e "You", diventando un punto di riferimento del movimento grunge. Candlebox ha continuato a pubblicare album negli anni successivi, mantenendo una solida base di fan e collaborando con artisti come Alice in Chains e Stone Temple Pilots.
