"One day a real rain is gonna fall"/to wash it off the streets
beats of silence, indecision fell you landed on your feet
fast wits permit the glass trip not to fall and shatter
it used to matter 'til it stopped making sense, the script
fell into my hands/then everything got colourless
real quick, the nightmare slickness fell into a cover flip
the lay-by cover-up, the sickest flow that rips this
shit kicking, mind spinning back into the rift
You don't remember me/you better pray to god
You don't remember me/you're better off as prey to god
As prey to god
million whores millions whores scurrying symptoms of scurrying this is my million liars million rain of fire scurrying scurrying
Comes from the bullet trigger, pull it, you figure
That another killer figure will be ripping you from the river
Blood in your mouth, his fist pushing you down
These eyes in your mind, can't be stealing the crown
God and here I am, uniting you in my hand
These things you'll know/when you stand where I stand
Blood throbs your temple as the dream splits quick
Fumbling, tumbling back into the rift
Don't think I don't know your pain
You're just trying to stay out of the rain
I thought we were the same
From this moment I'll never be wrong again
I know that you're going to hurt again
Because I'm praying for the rain
Clouds cover my head from pain
You're standing/in the sun and/I'm praying for the rain
I see you/in my mind/holding flowers/for me/in the rain
I see you/hold you/need you/crying in the rain
waiting/for this/flower/to bloom again, and again, and again
and still you wait/for me to step out from the rain
but my whole life was spent/praying for the rain
a million drops of rain forge my pain
million/scurrying/symptoms/and fire rains
to find this deeper truth
inside my truth
I wait for
