Defiance è una band thrash metal proveniente da Oakland, California. Sebbene virtualmente sconosciuta ai circuiti mainstream di metal e rock, Defiance è considerata una delle classiche band thrash di secondo livello provenienti dalla scena thrash metal della Bay Area.
