Talking Heads sono un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a New York nel 1975. Considerati pionieri dell'art-rock, hanno combinato influenze post-punk, funk, world music e musica sperimentale in un sound unico e innovativo. Il gruppo era composto da David Byrne (voce, chitarra), Chris Frantz (batteria), Tina Weymouth (basso) e Jerry Harrison (tastiere, sintetizzatori). Particolare attenzione veniva dedicata all'aspetto teatrale delle loro performance, con coreografie elaborate e costumi eccentrici. Tra i brani più famosi ci sono "Psycho Killer", "Once in a Lifetime", "Burning Down the House" e "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)". I Talking Heads hanno pubblicato otto album di studio tra il 1977 e il 1992, ottenendo un successo internazionale e influenzando generazioni di musicisti. Nel 1991 si sono sciolti dopo una lunga collaborazione artistica.
