The Cat Empire è un gruppo musicale australiano di Melbourne, noto per il suo stile eclettico che fonde elementi di jazz, ska, funk e world music. Fondato nel 1999, il gruppo è composto da Felix Riebl (percussioni e voce), Harry James Angus (tromba e voce), Ollie McGill (tastiere e cori), Ryan Monro (basso e cori), Will Hull-Brown (batteria) e Jamshid "Jumps" Khadiwhala (turntables, percussioni).
