Haggard è un gruppo musicale tedesco di symphonic metal formatosi nel 1991. Il gruppo fonde elementi di musica classica, musica antica e doom metal, creando un sound epico e complesso. Fondato da Eike Freese (voce, chitarra), Haggard ha pubblicato numerosi album in oltre trent'anni di carriera, guadagnandosi una solida fanbase internazionale. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Black Cat", "And Then There Were None" e "Haggard". L'album "Eppur Si Muove" (2001) è considerato un punto di svolta nella loro discografia, grazie alla sua atmosfera cupa e al mix innovativo di generi musicali. Haggard ha collaborato con numerosi artisti del panorama metal europeo, contribuendo a definire lo stile symphonic metal.
