Pat Monahan (nato Patrick Timon Monahan) è un cantautore, musicista e attore statunitense, noto soprattutto come frontman del gruppo rock Train. Nato a San Francisco, California, nel 1970, Monahan ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale all'età di 16 anni. Nel 1993, ha fondato i Train con Rob Hotchkiss, Jimmy Stafford e Scott Underwood. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo internazionale con album come "Drops of Jupiter" (2001) e "For Me, for You" (2003), caratterizzati da sonorità pop-rock con influenze folk e blues. Tra i brani più famosi di Pat Monahan e dei Train figurano "Drops of Jupiter", "Hey, Soul Sister", "If It's Love", "Calling All Angels" e "Give It Away". Oltre alla musica, Monahan ha recitato in film e serie TV come "CSI: Miami" e "The O.C.".
