Stormlord è un gruppo musicale italiano di symphonic black metal fondato a Roma nel 1991. Il loro stile, caratterizzato da una forte presenza di tastiere e testi ispirati alla mitologia, viene definito dal gruppo stesso come extreme epic metal. Tra le influenze musicali si possono riconoscere gruppi come Bathory, Emperor e Blind Guardian. Nel corso della loro carriera hanno pubblicato diversi album, tra cui "Umbra" (1997), "The 13th Hour" (2000) e "Skyclad" (2004). Stormlord è considerato uno dei pionieri del symphonic black metal italiano, contribuendo a definire il sound di questo genere musicale. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si possono citare "The Serpent's Tongue", "Arise from the Ashes" e "Eternal Winter".
