Gillian Welch (nata il 2 ottobre 1967 a New York City) è una cantautrice americana. Si esibisce con il suo partner musicale, il chitarrista David Rawlings. Il loro stile musicale scarno e oscuro, che combina elementi di musica appalachiana, bluegrass e americana, è stato descritto da The New Yorker come «al contempo innovativo e vagamente reminiscente di forme rurali del passato».
