The Magnetic Fields sono un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a New York negli anni '90. Il gruppo è guidato dal cantautore Stephin Merritt, che scrive quasi tutti i brani e interpreta la maggior parte delle musiche. La formazione include Claudia Gonson, Sam Davol e John Woo.
