Explorers Club è un supergruppo progressive metal/rock guidato dai fratelli Gardner di Magellan. Tra i membri figurano nomi illustri come James LaBrie e John Petrucci dei Dream Theater, Derek Sherinian (ex Dream Theater), Billy Sheehan, James Murphy e Steve Howe. La band si caratterizza per l'eclettismo musicale, mescolando elementi di progressive rock, metal sinfonico e jazz fusion. Il loro sound è complesso e raffinato, con un forte focus sulla virtuosità tecnica dei musicisti coinvolti. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Last Stand", "The Great Divide" e "The Age of Reason".
