Chad Robert Kroeger (Hanna, 15 novembre 1974) è un cantautore, chitarrista, compositore e produttore discografico canadese. Noto per essere il frontman del gruppo rock Nickelback, ha contribuito a plasmare l'immagine musicale della band con la sua voce roca e le sue melodie orecchiabili. Kroeger ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90, formando i Nickelback con Mike Kroeger (suo fratello), Ryan Peake e Daniel Adair. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo internazionale con album come *Silver Side Up* (2001) e *The Long Road* (2003), caratterizzati da hit come «How You Remind Me», «Photograph» e «Far Away». Oltre alla sua attività con i Nickelback, Kroeger ha collaborato con altri artisti, tra cui Avril Lavigne. La sua musica è stata spesso criticata per la sua semplicità melodica e le tematiche sentimentali, ma rimane comunque apprezzata da un vasto pubblico internazionale.
