The Incredible String Band (ISB) è stata una band folk psichedelica scozzese formatasi nel 1965. Ha guadagnato un seguito considerevole, soprattutto all'interno della controcultura britannica, prima di sciogliersi nel 1974. I membri del gruppo sono pionieri musicali nel folk psichedelico e, integrando una vasta gamma di forme musicali tradizionali e strumenti, hanno contribuito allo sviluppo della musica mondiale. La band si è riunita nel 1999 e ha continuato a esibirsi fino al 2006. Tra i brani più rappresentativi: *The Unicorn*, *October Song*, *A Very Cellular Song*.
