Marshall Howard Crenshaw (nascosto il 1953) è un cantautore e chitarrista statunitense, noto per la sua musica pop-rock degli anni '80. Crenshaw ha raggiunto il successo con singoli come "Someday, Someway" e "Cynical Girl", caratterizzati da melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi. La sua influenza musicale è stata significativa per artisti successivi del genere power pop. Crenshaw continua a registrare musica e esibirsi dal vivo, mantenendo un seguito fedele di fan. Tra i suoi album più importanti ricordiamo "Marshall Crenshaw" (1982) e "Field Day" (1983).
