Heather Small è una cantautrice britannica nata a Londra nel 1969. Conosciuta soprattutto come voce principale del gruppo M People, formazione musicale originaria di Manchester attiva tra gli anni '90 e il 2000, Heather Small ha raggiunto fama internazionale con brani soul-pop come "Moving on Up", "Searchin'" e "One Night in Heaven". Il suo album di debutto solista, "Proud", pubblicato nel 1997, è diventato un successo commerciale, consolidando la sua posizione come artista affermata. Oltre alla musica, Heather Small ha partecipato al programma televisivo di danza Strictly Come Dancing nel 2006. La sua voce potente e il suo stile musicale energico hanno contribuito a definire l'atmosfera del movimento dance britannico degli anni '90.
