Roots Manuva, pseudonimo di Rodney Hylton Smith, è un rapper britannico nato a Londra nel 1972. Considerato uno dei pionieri del grime e dell'UK hip hop, ha influenzato profondamente la scena musicale britannica con il suo stile unico che fonde elementi reggae, dub, jazz e soul. La sua musica è caratterizzata da testi introspettivi e poetici, spesso incentrati su temi sociali e politici.
