Paul Joseph Brady (nato il 19 giugno 1952) è un cantautore e musicista irlandese, noto per la sua voce profonda e le sue canzoni introspettive. Brady ha iniziato a suonare musica all'età di sette anni e ha formato i suoi primi gruppi musicali durante l'adolescenza. Nel corso degli anni '70, si è affermato come membro del gruppo folk-rock The John Martyn Band. Ha poi intrapreso una carriera da solista, pubblicando album di successo come "The Island of Hope" (1982) e "False Prophet" (1984). Le sue canzoni spesso esplorano temi di amore, perdita, fede e politica, con influenze provenienti dal folk irlandese, dalla musica americana e dal rock progressivo.
