let's play something rich you did honey it's your choice this time
I hit the strings a long time ago and the sound's still ringing out loud
I see the sun I hear the street I feel the earth beneath my feet
I could move in any direction
and everything is floating everything is floating everything is floating
so let's pretend we knew the end we knew the end was near
you could cut me loose you could kick me out you could get me the hell out of here
you look around you see the stars you wonder how long you've got before you finally go crazy
remember kellerman's song she had her eyes glued shut only to keep her from looking
you know everything is cooking everything is cooking everything is cooking
and on the band on the shore to this wasteland I sit and sing for you
no things bad and no things good the only thing that's true
don't let your troubles bury you
so we take turns cheering each other up and we take turns to fall down
and today you're the queen and tomorrow it's me with the biggest laugh and the crown
and here we stand hand in hand eye to eye
glued to the ground what's to see it around what's in this town
well me I had a vision and a dream really not that big
but lately I just dream of happiness sliding away from me
oh kellerman you lucky girl you don't have to see the world
it keeps spinning with or without you and never will it change
but as they say, don't fall out of range
cause everything is floating everything is floating everything is floating our way
