Stroke 9 è un gruppo musicale alternativo rock formatosi nell'area della Baia di San Francisco nel 1989. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo negli anni '90 con album come "The Stroke" (1994) e "The New Sound of the Future" (1996), caratterizzati da un sound energico e melodico, influenzato dal grunge e dalla musica punk. Tra i brani più noti di Stroke 9 figurano "All I Want", "I'm Not Your Friend" e "Little Things". Il gruppo ha collaborato con artisti come The Offspring e Green Day, contribuendo a definire l'evoluzione del rock alternativo negli anni '90.
