Dave Sharp è un musicista britannico, noto soprattutto per essere il chitarrista e cofondatore della band punk rock The Alarm. Nato in Galles nel 1960, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80 con The Alarm, raggiungendo grande successo con album come "Declaration" (1984) e "Strength" (1986). La sua musica è caratterizzata da un sound energico e melodico, influenzato dal punk rock classico e dalla tradizione folk gallese. Oltre alla sua attività con The Alarm, Sharp ha anche collaborato con altri artisti e ha pubblicato alcuni album solisti. Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Dave Sharp figurano "The Stand", "Rain in the Summertime" e "Sixty-Eight Guns".
