Jag Panzer è una storica band di power metal statunitense proveniente da Colorado Springs, in Colorado. Attiva dal 1980, il gruppo ha contribuito a definire l'evoluzione del genere negli anni '80 e '90 con un sound caratterizzato da riff heavy, melodie orecchiabili e testi epici. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Guardians of the Night", "The Hammer Falls" e "Ironclad", mentre tra gli album di maggior successo figura "Ample Destruction" (1987). La band ha attraversato diverse fasi di formazione, con il cantante Harry Conklin come elemento costante. Jag Panzer è considerata una delle prime band a portare il power metal americano al successo internazionale.
