"Natas, life after death"
Natas is an American hip hop group from Detroit, Michigan. The group comprises Esham, TNT, and Mastamind. Natas performs a style that it refers to as acid rap and is known for its dark, violent lyrics and rock-based sound. Esham met Mastamind as a student at Osborne High School, who gave him a three-song demo tape of his music, leading the two to form the group with Esham's longtime friend, TNT, deciding on the name Natas as a symbol of their disposition at the time and released their first album, Life After Death on Esham's Reel Life Productions label in 1992. The group's name is an acronym which has meant both "Nation Ahead of Time And Space" and "Niggaz Ahead of Time And Space".
