It's got a politician, one half good
The other half wrong, messing up like I'm tripping
Even though I'm making all this money
Niggas still wanna go back,
Even though I can make 'em all this money
Niggas still wanna go back.
'Cause I can't shake the memory, no(I miss the hood)
I just can't shake the memory, I can't shake it, no

'Cause you were there to always get me what I need, my niggas
And I'll never forget
That's why this life that I'm living,
It's got a politician, one half good,
The other half wrong, messing us like I'm tripping
Even though we're making all this money
Niggas still wanna go back,
Even though I'm making all this money
Niggas still wanna go back.
'Cause I can't shake the memory, no
(I missed the hood)
I just can't shake the memory, I can't shake it, no
(I missed the hood)

The other half wrong, messing us like I'm tripping
Even though we're making all this money
Niggas still wanna go back,
Even though I'm making all this money
Niggas still wanna go back.
'Cause I can't shake the memory, no
(I missed the hood)
I just can't shake the memory, I can't shake it, no
(I missed the hood)
