Once I thought I saw you in a crowded, hazy bar,
( written by neil young )
Dancing on the light from star to star
Far across the moon beams, I know thats who you are.
Once I thought I saw you in a crowded, hazy bar,
I saw your brown eyes turning once to fire.
Dancing on the light from star to star
Far across the moon beams, I know thats who you are.
You are like a hurricane: theres calm in your eye.
I saw your brown eyes turning once to fire.
And Im getting blown away.
Theres somewhere safer where the feelings stay.
You are like a hurricane: theres calm in your eye.
I wanna love you but Im getting blown away.
And Im getting blown away.
Theres somewhere safer where the feelings stay.
I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream,
I wanna love you but Im getting blown away.
And you could have been anyone to me.
Before that moment you touched my lips,
I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream,
That perfect feeling when time just slips
And you could have been anyone to me.
Away between us and our foggy trips.
Before that moment you touched my lips,
That perfect feeling when time just slips
You are like a hurricane: theres calm in your eye.
Away between us and our foggy trips.
And Im getting blown away.
Theres somewhere safer where the feelings stay.
You are like a hurricane: theres calm in your eye.
I wanna love you but Im getting blown away.
And Im getting blown away.
Theres somewhere safer where the feelings stay.
We all came down to/from montreaux
I wanna love you but Im getting blown away.
The lake geneva shoreline
Some stupid with a flare-gun
[here chris sings a verse frome smokeonthewater by deep purple:] we all came down to/from montreaux
Burnt the place to the ground
The lake geneva shoreline
Some stupid with a flare-gun
You are like a hurricane: theres calm in your eye.
Burnt the place to the ground
And Im getting blown away.
Theres somewhere safer where the feelings stay.
You are like a hurricane: theres calm in your eye.
I wanna love you but Im getting blown away.
And Im getting blown away.
Theres somewhere safer where the feelings stay.
I wanna love you but Im getting blown away.
Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Way It Is", "Love Song" e "I'm Not Your Man".
