Tanya Stephens, all'anagrafe Vivienne Tanya Stephenson, è una cantautrice e produttrice discografica giamaicana di genere dancehall e reggae. Nata a Kingston nel 1970, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90 con il suo primo album "Yuh Nuh Ready Fi Dis" (1998). Conosciuta per le sue performance energiche e i testi diretti e provocatori, Stephens è diventata una figura di spicco nel panorama dancehall giamaicano. Tra i suoi brani più famosi figurano "It's a Pity", "These Streets", "Affairs of the Heart" e "Hide Away". Nel corso della sua carriera ha collaborato con artisti come Beenie Man, Bounty Killer e Sean Paul. Stephens è stata anche una pioniera nel promuovere la musica dancehall internazionale, partecipando a festival e tour in tutto il mondo.
