The Wolfgang Press sono stati un gruppo musicale inglese attivo negli anni '80 e '90. Sebbene molte persone abbiano partecipato alla maggior parte delle loro registrazioni (soprattutto negli anni successivi), il nucleo del gruppo era composto da Michael Allen (vokalista, basso), Mark Cox (tastiere) e Andrew Gray (chitarra). La band ha inciso per l'etichetta 4AD. Sia Allen che Cox erano stati membri di Rema-Rema e Mass, mentre Gray aveva fatto parte di In Camera. Tutti questi gruppi avevano anche registrato per la 4AD. Il gruppo ha ottenuto un successo #2 nella classifica Modern Rock negli Stati Uniti con "A Girl Like You" nel 1992, che è stato anche il loro più grande successo internazionale.
