Skrillex, pseudonimo di Sonny John Moore, è un DJ, produttore discografico e cantante statunitense nato nel 1988. Noto per aver contribuito alla nascita del genere dubstep, Skrillex ha raggiunto fama internazionale con il suo sound caratterizzato da bassi profondi, ritmi veloci e sonorità elettroniche innovative. Iniziò la sua carriera musicale come vocalist della band post-hardcore From First to Last, prima di dedicarsi interamente alla musica elettronica nel 2010. Nel corso della sua carriera ha collaborato con artisti di fama mondiale come Justin Bieber, Diplo, Damian Marley e Ellie Goulding. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites", "Bangarang" (feat. Sirah) e "First of the Year (Equinox)". Skrillex ha vinto tre Grammy Awards per la sua musica, consolidando il suo status di icona del genere dubstep.
