[Intro. (Electric Guitars)]
I found a map to buried treasure
I found it deep within your smile
I think that now that I have found it
I will study it
I wear your allegiance like a cloak of trust
Wrapped around the heart of me
And no conditions were discussed
When we joined forces helplessly
Falling inward we were linked by chain
Across the length of rolling sea
Welded by laughter and sealed in pain
Floating love has rescued me
It's trust that holds it anchored
It's the trust takes years to build
Without it there is nothing
Just emptiness unfulfilled
Brick by brick you know we built it up
Built a house to hold a dream
A shape that's rising from the rubble
Where the shaking death had been
I found a map to buried treasure
I found it deep within your smile
I think that now that I have found it
I will study it for a while
No sticks and stones can hurt us
Nor the liars or the thieves
We'll use the stones to ring our garden
And the sticks to gather up the leaves
Brick by brick you know we built it up
Built a house to hold a dream
A shape that's rising from the rubble
Where the shaking death had been
I found a map to buried treasure
I found it deep within your smile
I think that now that I have found it
I will study it
[Instrumental (Piano)]
I found a map to buried treasure
I found it deep within your smile
I think that now that I have found it
I will study it a while
I found a map to buried treasure Aaah ...
I found it deep within your smile Aaah ...
I think that now that I have found it Aaah ...
I will study it ... for a while
Mmm, mmm, mmm ...
[Instrumental Ending (Electric Guitars and Piano)]
Tambourine Man" e "Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is a Season)".
