Kon Kan è stata una band canadese di synthpop formatasi a Toronto, Ontario, alla fine degli anni '80. Il gruppo era composto da Barry Harris (voce, tastiera, chitarra) e Kevin Wynne (voce). Il loro album di debutto, *Move to Move* (1989), ha prodotto il singolo "I Beg Your Pardon (I Never Promised You a Rose Garden)", che campionava successi come "(I Never Promised You A) Rose Garden" di Lynn Anderson (1971), "Get Up And Boogie (That's Right)" di Silver Convention (1976), "Call Me" di Spagna (1987) e l'introduzione del tema musicale de *I magnifici sette* (conosciuto anche come colonna sonora di una pubblicità Marlboro negli anni '60). Kon Kan ha raggiunto un discreto successo internazionale con il loro sound synthpop caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi evocativi.
