Transatlantic è un supergruppo di progressive rock formatosi nel 1999 da Neal Morse (ex cantante e tastierista di Spock's Beard) e Mike Portnoy (batterista di Dream Theater). Il gruppo ha visto la partecipazione di altri musicisti di spicco del genere, come il chitarrista Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings) e il bassista Pete Trewavas (Marillion). Transatlantic è noto per i suoi album concept complessi e musicalmente raffinati, che combinano elementi di progressive rock classico con influenze jazz e fusion. Tra le loro opere più celebri si annoverano l'album di debutto omonimo del 1999 e "Bridge Across Forever" (2000), entrambi accolti con grande successo dalla critica.
